Office Format Processing

Prizm Content Connect supports viewing formats of several office software suites, including Microsoft Office 2007 (docx, xlsx, pptx), Office 2000 (doc, xls, ppt), and Open Office (odt, sxw, ods, sxc. odp, sxi, odg).

Prizm Content Connect allows users to convert any format of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents to PDF, SWF, SVG, or image files on an in-house server.

There is no need for Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, or any other additional software licenses or downloads.

You do not have to use password for read only protected documents. Such documents can be still converted to PDF, SWF, SVG, or image (PNG, JPEG, TIFF).

Use openpass parameter on command line API or RESTful API call to convert password encrypted office document to PDF, SWF, SVG, or image (PNG, JPEG, TIFF).

Examples:

For command line API the encryption password has to be enclosed in double quotes if it contains spaces.
